Weather & Safety
Angel Fire is located in the Moreno Valley at approximately 8400ft in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains at the tail of the Rockies. Therefore mountain weather expectations apply. Temperatures will vary from the 30s - 40s at the Start to the 70s in the afternoon. The sun can be quite strong - protective eyewear and sunscreen are strongly suggested. The end of June can be the start of our monsoon season, and afternoon thunderstorms are possible. All riders should carry a rain/wind jacket. Gloves, arm/leg warmers are also suggested.
This is an open road event. Obey all traffic laws and DO NOT cross the yellow line - many sections are windy mountain or canyon roads and your life could depend on it! Please carry identification and medical insurance cards with you. No child carriers.

Riders registering for a single day that would like to transfer their registration to either the other single day or the full RR200 or RR150 event should contact us via email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 575-224-1595. Sorry, there are no refunds on registrations. The ride will be held rain or shine. But we understand if schedules change. We will apply your registration fee to next years ride. Just let us know.
